Birmingham City Ladies Football Club can confirm a new long term partnership with adidas.

The global sportswear brand will be the Club’s official technical kit supplier for the next four seasons.

Blues Ladies join their male counterparts along with an exclusive list of clubs who benefit from a partnership with adidas, including Manchester United, AC Milan and Real Madrid, as well as several other huge clubs from the footballing world.

Birmingham City FC Director Panos Pavlakis said: “adidas has a fantastic football heritage and tradition and we are very excited about working with them for the next four seasons

"We are very much looking forward to our supporters wearing the adidas brand with great pride. Credit must go to two members of our management team, Ian Dutton, Head of Commercial, and Wayne Cowen, Head of Ticketing and Retail, for negotiating such a lucrative deal with the biggest brand in football.”

Gavin Thomson, adidas MD for North Europe added: “adidas is proud to have signed a long term deal to become the official kit supplier of Birmingham City Ladies Football Club starting in the 2016 FA Women’s Super League season.”

Blues Ladies manager David Parker said: “I am absolutely delighted that as a Club we have a four year deal with adidas. This marks an important step in the evolution of the Ladies Club and having the world's leading brand wanting to work with us shows our ambition and shared vision in achieving our goals of being successful moving forwards. Personally I cannot wait to put on those famous three stripes!”.
