ARSENAL LADIES V BLUES LADIES MATCH PREVIEW

The games are coming thick and fast for Birmingham City Ladies who travel to The Hive to play Arsenal Ladies tomorrow, kick-off 1pm.

On Wednesday, Marc Skinner and his team put the heartache of the SSE Women’s FA Cup defeat behind them by defeating Bristol City 2-0 at Solihull Moors.

England striker Ellen White bagged a brace as Blues Ladies secured their first win on the 2017 Spring Series.

On the same evening Jordan Nobbs’ last minute equaliser secured Arsenal a draw against Chelsea.

Just one point separates sixth place Blues and fourth place Arsenal with both teams having played four games.

FORM GUIDE

Arsenal have drawn three and won one so far in the Spring Series; their win was 5-1 over Yeovil Town Ladies.

Blues secured their first win in the Spring Series last time out against Bristol City following the FA Cup Final defeat against Chelsea.

PREVIOUS MEETING

The two sides last met back in March in the SSE Women’s FA Cup Quarter-Final where Blues won thanks to a Marisa Ewers goal which secured a Semi-Final spot.

ONE TO WATCH – Ellen White (Blues)

Blues’ winter signing Ellen White bagged a brace, scoring her first league goals since joining from Notts County.

White will be looking to carry on the goal scoring form against her former club.
