The Club have announced the departure of three players as Marc Skinner looks to reshuffle his squad ahead of the forthcoming WSL campaign.

Freda Ayisi, Maddy Cusack and Coral Haines will all be free to find other clubs once their contracts expire this summer.

Ayisi featured 57 times for Blues after joining the Club from Arsenal back in 2015. During that time, she netted eight times and was named in Marc Skinner’s starting line-up for the 2017 FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Cusack will be looking for more consistent playing time following her move from Second City rivals Aston Villa back in September 2017. The versatile midfielder started two Continental Tyres Cup games against Oxford and Doncaster Belles.

After spending the season on loan with WSL 2 side Spurs Ladies, Coral-Jade Haines will be supported in finding herself a new team. The Club have agreed that it would be in the best interest for both parties if Coral finds a club that can offer the playing time she needs in order to continue her development.

The Leicester-born 21 year-old played 29 times for Blues since making her debut in the Conti Cup back in 2013. As a teenager, Coral featured in the UEFA Women’s Champions League round of 32 when Blues defeated Finnish side PK-35 Vantaa.

Marc Skinner insists that the club will help support the players during their transition to the next venture within their career. "I would like to personally thank Freda, Maddy and Coral for their service to the Club and reiterate that Birmingham City will offer support and guidance to players transitioning to the next part of their football journey."

The Club would like to place on record our thanks Freda, Maddy and Coral for their efforts and wish them every success in the future.
