VERONA 3 BLUES LADIES 0

Blues Ladies bowed out of the UEFA Women's Champions League at the first hurdle, with an agonising 3-2 aggregate defeat after extra-time.

David Parker's side travelled to Italy 2-0 up from the first-leg in Stratford, but Verona goals in either half forced extra-time, where Cristiana Girelli broke Blues' hearts in the 112th minute.
